Position Summary:

The Pamplin College of Business is currently recruiting a Scholarship and Special Projects Coordinator. This individual will provide administrative support to meet the programmatic, administrative, and operational needs of the annual scholarship process, student recruiting and career services, and the daily operational support for the College Business Service Center. The Coordinator reports directly to the College Business Manager and works closely with directors, program managers and other key stakeholders. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and able to prioritize work, multi-task, communicate with a high degree of success while working in a fast pace and continually growing environment.

Required Qualifications:

Experience providing administrative support and coordinating multiple types of tasks

Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication skills to include an outgoing personality, patient and friendly demeanor, and enthusiastic work ethic

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with scholarships in an academic environment

Experience with Banner, Academic Works, Timeclock Plus, and TEM System

Bachelor’s degree or demonstrated significant experience in lieu of degree
