Position Summary:

Chief Objective of Position:
Application Development: Design, develop, test and maintain IT Service Management applications and services needed to improve the effectiveness of the Division of Information Technology, using modern application development paradigms, design patterns and tools, such as REST, SOAP, AJAX, JavaScript, AngularJS, PHP, HTML, CSS, XML, and LDAP. Works as a member of small team assigned to develop and deploy web applications. Works with Division of IT staff to identify critical needs for applications, specify requirements, and with management approval of application designs, develops, implements, tests, and deploys new applications.

Required Qualifications:

Qualifications:
-Strong working knowledge of application development.
-In particular, demonstrated skills in application and services development using REST, SOAP, AJAX, JavaScript, AngularJS, PHP, HTML, CSS, XML, and LDAP and related technologies.
-Self-starter with ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks and projects required.
-Ability to operate independently with high-level direction and with assigned teams to accomplish organizational goals and objectives is essential.
-Willingness and ability to document knowledge and share with others is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Post-secondary educational degree(s) in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
-ServiceNow development, configuration, and administration experience.
-ServiceNow Certified System Administrator. ITIL v3 certification.
