Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Training and Project Manager; create trainings, programs and resources to assist in student employee’s professional and personal development and to increase retention. Assist Dining Centers in creating an environment where student’s employees feel appreciated, connected and part of the community. Provide resources and training for Student Employees and their managers to ensure they have the skills necessary to excel in their position.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and/or experience. Candidate must have strong presentation and facilitation skills. Professional experience working with students. Be able to work independently in a fast paced environment and demonstrate a strong ability in verbal and written communication. Candidate should have prior experience with communication, event planning and human resources. Experience with technology including Microsoft office and social media platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Food Services operations with exposure to food quality, customer services and food safety issues. (ServSafe and HACCP). Experience with Banner system and or Food Pro system desired.
