Assists the System Administrator and the Systems Manager performing IT duties as assigned; Diagnose and troubleshoot network communication problems within the office network and system network; provide desktop, laptop and mobile device support; Resolve system problems and monitor network users and customer data; Assist in maintaining servers, databases and assigned system interfaces. Assist with the installation of system hardware and software upgrades, peripherals and interface devices; Provide customer support to all users of the CS Gold system and assist with the maintenance of the database; Serve as an operational level point of contact on HPS computer systems; train users on system aspects as needed; Provide general guidance to departmental personnel and other university departments on HPS IT policies, procedures, and system guidelines. Provides assistance with ensuring that services are not compromised. Collaborates with team members to ensure the success of projects and systems.
-Associates degrees in computer science, information technology or related field OR an equivalent level of training and experience.
-Experience with CBORD CS Gold or similar integrated card based system; experience with Banner;
